Our story
(why MineGuard AI exists)
MineGuard AI started on site. As a risk owner, Ekin was leading and reviewing investigations and saw a consistent pattern: capable teams working hard, but investigation quality and pace varied widely. Under time pressure, evidence was fragmented, system-level factors were missed, and actions weren't always testable—leading to repeat incidents.
In 2023, rapid improvements in generative AI made a new approach possible. In 2024, Ekin and Cem invested significant personal time to build Incident AI—not to "automate safety", but to reduce admin load and lift consistency, while keeping decisions with the investigation team.
What began as one tool has grown into MineGuard AI: practical, secure-by-design products that help teams turn evidence into clear, defensible outcomes—and improve the day-to-day work of people in high-risk environments.
